More blessing day photos

He is about 6 weeks old here.

Elliott's Baby Blessing

We were blessed to be surrounded by family for Elliott's baby blessing. Thanks to everyone who made the journey to welcome the little guy into our family.

Colic?

Dr. Sears says if you need to ask, your baby does NOT "have colic". We do not need to ask...

Elliott is really hurting. More than even Everett had. His reflux is terrible and meds do not seem to help. He is generally miserable and well...that describes him now. I feel so bad for him (and for myself). We just try to help him best we can and pray this still allows him to find joy in life even at this young age. He is a sweet boy and is very talkative and full of smiles...when he is not hurting.

His hair sticks straight up

Plus he has cradle cap (the others did not...it is pretty gross).

Blizzard 2010

We got over 3 feet of snow this winter. It was a blast! I was so glad that our kids could have these memories. Dan had fun playing in it with them. He did NOT enjoy walking to work through snow drifts as high as his waist. There were two days he could not even attempt to drive and walked it. He is so tough. The kids LOVED it! I am so glad. Notice how Natalie crawled out to the mailbox. Also notice that because of the fact that we live in a wind tunnel, there was snow, 3 feet high, and none at all in other places. The drifts made our backyard look like the Great Sand Dunes National Monument.

Everett helps to make dinner!

No he was not allowed to use the Santoku knife. He was tearing the seeds out of the pepper halves though.

Tummy Time 2

The kids like to help Elliott during tummy time.
