Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

So once again the Stewarts invite to another Fantastic place. (Ruth, let me know if yu can't save the pics from this.) It is rated from Sports Illustrated Kids as one of the TOP 25 Places for Kids. It was a wonderful place. Only thing, we were overdressed, considering it was in the mid 70s. The kids had a blast, doing all sorts of farm oriented games activities, etc. Check out their website to see it all. It is certainly one of those places you could spend all day. We were there only a few hours. FYI: Lancaster County, PA is the #1 agricultural/producing counting in the USA (DUH!!) and the farm we visited was the founder of "The Amazing Maize Maze". Yup, it got the patent, whatever, on it back in 1996.

So we have this little girl from the neighborhood who has basically joined our family. Most days she is here for hours. We think she is one cute kid and Natalie loves having her to play with. Thought you'd enjoy some pics.

Seidel Visit

Our Alabama Family came to visit us conference weekend. We were SO glad to see them and meet Jim and the baby. We are so glad that we have remained close friends. We love them so much. Thanks for the visit. Can't wait to see you next year!

Kid Bowling

So our house has been the neighborhood house for the past few weeks. We love it! It is a good feeling that kids want to be at our house. So much so that they even break out of their house and make their way over to our home (two different kids from two different families)! It is quite funny, although naturally it worries the parents. Dan loves it, stating that his house growing up was the same way. And naturally, Natalie LOVES playing with friends all day. So amongst the variety of play, we have recently created Kid Bowling where we stand as human pins. The kids get a kick out of this. It is amazing how simple things amuse! Thanks Mom for the big ball!

And of course there is always the Car-Coaster!

House Day 55

Wow, these guys (hanging the drywall) are the messiest around. It is a war zone walking through the house. Drink containers, etc litter the place. Mr. Musser (builder, in name only) has a sign on the door stating that they need to clean up after themselves or else they will be fined. Hopefully he does not do an inspection in the near future. The other contractors were very orderly and clean. These guys are not! Nonetheless, clipping right along. It is amazing to see what a butcher job it is, thank goodness for all the detailing work. Interestingly, it took right under 2 months to do everything up to this point. It will take 2 months to do all the finishing--cabinets, flooring, trim, etc. Nice to see that an equal amount of time is spent on the stuff you spend all day looking at.
