Kim Sunghyun visits PA--Hershey Chocolate World

Dan's friend from Pharmacy school came to visit for a week. We had a great time with him--as usual. The kids love Sunghyun! They refused to hold our hands when out and about--they both wanted him the entire time!
Some pics from Hershey's Chocolate World.

Nosebleed Central

Dan is prone to nosebleeds. One day last week he had three (major ones!) within 12 hours. One woke him in the early morning hours. One at work (he went to the ER there). And one right after dinner. They codderized the nose twice. Thankfully, the third one was the last one. Anyway, for DAYS he had a disgusting BLACK nostril (from the Silver Nitrate). In this pic you can see an ever so faint black left nostril--healed at this point. Here he is with Everett outside his workplace.

Baby Alive--Yard Sale Find!

Natalie fell in love with her friend's Baby Alive doll (animated, bodily functioned doll). We explained "coveting" to her and told her to calm her desires--we'd look for one at a yeard sale. Believe it or not. That girl drew up a Yard Sale List--some items thereon: Baby Alive, notebook, statue...you get the pic. Well, the second sale we went to (Natalie list in hand) she finds a naked Baby Alive--$1. She learned the value of Yard Sale-ing at a very early age!

You will not see this 20 times.

Natalie insisted that we put another entry about losing a tooth, this time her second tooth--this one she is sure NOT to lose. Ya figure you only lose your teeth one time (you hope) and we should joy in the little things...although I doubt we will have 18 more entries like this one.

Waterfront Property???!!!

So today the guy from the township office came out. I had called concerning a fence we are planning to put up. He said he'd come over. Very nice. Anyway, he calmed any fears I may have had about possible water flooding at the house. He showed me how to keep the drain clean and then showed me the "emergency overflow" area, an actual part of the hill behind us..we'd never noticed before. Anyway, this pic was taken a week or so ago right after the tornado warning our area had. The rain and hail created a pond for the local mallard family. They were actual diving under fishing for something.

Our Creative Children

We have VERY imaginative children. Natalie of course..and even Everett started at a very young age crawling on the floor, neighing like a horse. That creativity follows them each day in their play. Here are some pics of... a city and playing mom and dad.

Riverdance

We took Natalie and my parents to see the international troupe perform at the Hershey Theatre! What a wonderfull performance. The people around us were able to enjoy an intermission mini-show performed by our own Irish Dancer, Natalie. It was great fun!
