Baby Blessing

What a BLESSING to be present for a baby blessing...only our second one in most recent years. Baby Kori was blessed and we were able to enjoy more time with family. Pics are FUNNY!

So our Everett is aok with his bodily functions. He LOVES passing gas and burping--possibly due to the responses he gets from family members. Well to sit him on the pot (pre-potty training here) he does what all good boys do--pushes, which makes him pass wind and laugh. He is a hoot and knows it. He certainly inherited the funny gene.

Snow Days!

Considering snow day memories are some of the only memories I have of childhood, I always hope the kids have plenty of them. We have been blessed recently to see some snowy days...none of the blizzard type I knew growing up, but snow nonetheless. The kids love it and we thoroughly enjoy looking over "our" fields of snow.

Pennsylvania Farm Show 2009 (and Jim's visit)

Pennsylvania's Number One Industry is Agriculture! Duh!!

We went to the farm show in Harrisburg 2 different days. The first to see the animals, butter sculpture, etc. The second time we went to the Rodeo. That was quite fun--no pics though. The kids had a blast watching the events (as usual--we miss the rodeos of the west) and their first dose of cotton candy. Natalie thought it was quite cool. Can you see Natalie on stage learning an Irish dance (that was from the first evening)--red shirt, jeans, between two costumed dancers? Next year we will plan better so we can spend days there not just evenings.

Uncle Jim Fry came for a visit the other day. He is so good with the kids and they absolutely adore him. Everett said his name all night. And for Ev-dog that is saying a lot.

The PA Train Museum, Hershey Christmas Candy Lane and More..

We took the kids to Hershey Christmas Candy Lane to ride rides.

We spent time with family...what else do you do?

We were able to meet Baby Kori.

We spent a morning at the Pennsylvania Train Museum. We took cousin Haley along.

The fields behind us were visited by flocks of geese! Yea! What a wonderful sight and sound. They were there all day.

Dan and the kids built a Snowgirl Turtle.

To all of you concerned for our welfare these last few weeks, Thank you! We are alive and well. We just do not have high speed internet yet...

Moving Day!

I am so glad that we are able to say that there are NO plans in our future of moving anytime soon. This was a tough year, having moved 4 times. We are glad it is over and we are thrilled to be in our home now.

Dan's dad and his wife Debbie flew out to help us move. We also had many others help which made what we thought would be a two day affair, only one day.

Then came Christmas. Pics of the kids with our kid nativity. And some pics of them "sleeping" and playing.
