Yea, so Natalie got her first real SHORT hair cut. I was tilting my head trying to angle up in the back and oops! she got a whopper of a haircut. I almost cried I was so upset with myself. She reassured me over and over, telling me that it would grow out, and she said she liked it that short. Later though she came in the room from brushing her teeth (after bath, when hair was wet) and said she looked like a boy. Aaaah! That is exactly what I DID NOT want her to think. I apologized again, and she said "Mom, you know that I will always forgive you!" Dan pointed out that in only a few weeks it will grow out enough to not look this short for school. Thankfully our kids hair grows FAST! Needless to say, I have NEVER had training in cutting hair.

I love it! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gives "haircuts".
It must run in the family. Mom used to cut my hair. She'd put a piece of tape on my forehead hair then cut it off. My bangs were usually staight- in a diagonal! It will grow.
