Daddy's Girl

So one night last week I had to take part in our ward open house. Dan took the kids to HersheyPark in the Dark. They loved the time checking out the zoo animals at night--with their flashlight. And they always love the rides. (We are going again this weekend). Anyway, Nataie was very excited for her date with Daddy. Pics of them before they went.

Funny Faces, Funny Kids

Our kids are great! We have so much fun laughing at/with them. Especially Everett--he is going to be the class clown. He is funny and he knows it--he feeds off of our attention. Natalie is the actress. She has no problem whipping out a British accent or changing her demeanor. So tonight we had a blast while drinking our milkshakes. Notice Everett's faces, "cold", "frowny", "happy", "silly". Too bad we cannot capture the eyerolling goofy one. Natalie's was pretty silly. She is a hoot!

Views at the VA

Over a dozen beautiful brick buildings greet Dan each day. This is what we saw as the sun went down one evening this week.

Thank you veterans! Dad! Barry S.! Jeff K! Anyone else we may forget.

It is pretty humbling to walk the halls of the VA and see these wonderful men and women. Dan is lucky to serve those who have served.

Oh, Please...

Oh I LOVE Hungarians!

Check out this link and see how MANY of the well know people are of Hungarian descent. It is nice to see that Hungarians certainly make their mark on this world. I love them. It is fun to see that they consist of more than Mariska Hargitay and Zsa Zsa Gabor.

My friend Melody posted this GREAT clip of the Vice-Pres debate...hahaha. Sit back for 11 minutes and enjoy this! It is great!

House Day 67

Well here are some updates pics of the house. Amazingly, they are already working on the trim. For someone who knows nothing about building a house, it seems to me that they will soon be done. Anyway, here are the pics along with some of the sunset (again) and some fall colors.

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

So once again the Stewarts invite to another Fantastic place. (Ruth, let me know if yu can't save the pics from this.) It is rated from Sports Illustrated Kids as one of the TOP 25 Places for Kids. It was a wonderful place. Only thing, we were overdressed, considering it was in the mid 70s. The kids had a blast, doing all sorts of farm oriented games activities, etc. Check out their website to see it all. It is certainly one of those places you could spend all day. We were there only a few hours. FYI: Lancaster County, PA is the #1 agricultural/producing counting in the USA (DUH!!) and the farm we visited was the founder of "The Amazing Maize Maze". Yup, it got the patent, whatever, on it back in 1996.
